Agadir
Capital of the Souss region, this city is Morocco’s most important fishing port. Agadir is renown for its wonderful sand beach that extends over more than 6 km and for its average of 300 sunny days per year. Agadir is a modern city; it was completely rebuilt after the terrible earthquake in 1960. It is Morocco’s largest sea resort and has got an excellent infrastructure. Its hinterland is charming, both with regard to its landscapes and its inhabitants. The population, mostly Berbers, are renown for their hospitality. |
